Background and Scope
Originally initiated and organized by HZDR Research Site Leipzig in 2012 , the bi-annual workshop was subsequently held at UFZ in Leipzig, Germany and PSI in Villigen, Switzerland. KIT-INE proudly announce the 4th workshop to take place at KIT in Karlsruhe, Germany.
The intention of the workshop is to serve as a platform for PhD students working in the field of reactive transport modelling and related experiments to present their work, exchange their knowledge and share their experience. We encourage all attending PhD students to present their work by oral presentations.
General Information
The workshop will be held at the Institute for Nuclear Waste Disposal (INE) located at the Campus North of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Hotel rooms will be available at Hotel “Der Anker” in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen at a rate of 65 € per night including breakfast. The workshop will be organized as a two half day event with a dinner in the evening of the first day. An optional visit of the KIT synchrotron facility ANKA will be organized in the afternoon of the second day.
